What You Need to Know About Our Transition to Highlands Bank

What You Need to Know About Our Transition to Highlands Bank
We know you may have some questions about our rebrand to Highlands Bank. We are committed to proactively communicating updates, listening to your feedback, and answering your questions.

Although you will begin to see changes around our offices and online, customers do not need to take any action to continue banking with us.

Brand Identity

What will be changing?

The most significant change is our brand identity. We are transitioning our name to Highlands Bank. This includes a new logo, updated signage at all branches, and a refreshed digital presence across our website and mobile applications. While our look is evolving, our commitment to our employees and customers remains steadfast.

Why are we changing the name?

The name "Highlands Bank" was chosen to better reflect the diverse and growing communities we serve. As we expand our footprint, we want a brand that feels inclusive of our entire geographic region while honoring the local spirit that has always defined us. This rebranding aligns our visual identity with our forward-looking strategic goals.

Is the bank being sold, merged, or bought out?

No. This is strictly a rebranding initiative. There has been no change in ownership, no merger with another institution, and no buyout. We remain the same independent, locally owned bank you know, simply operating under a new name that represents our next chapter of growth.

Accounts and Services

Will anything change with customer accounts or services?

Account numbers, routing numbers, and existing loan terms will remain exactly the same. You do not need to move your money, update forms, or sign new disclosures. Our suite of services and competitive rates will continue to be offered with the same high standard of personal care.

Will debit cards or checks need to be replaced immediately?

No immediate action is required. Current debit cards and checks will continue to function normally until they reach their expiration date, or you require a reorder. We will begin issuing new Highlands Bank branded materials as part of the natural replacement cycle.

Bank Operations

Are employees, roles, or branch locations changing?

Our team is our greatest asset, and there are no staffing reductions or location closures associated with this change. You will continue to see the same friendly faces at your local branches, and employee roles and responsibilities remain unchanged. We will remain locally owned and operated.

When does the name change take effect?

The official "Go-Live" date for the Highlands Bank brand is July 1, 2026. You may see some changes on signage around our locations leading up to the date and then we will fully transition to the new name and look after that date. We can’t wait for you to see our brand!
