Highlands Bank Announces Leadership Promotions and Welcomes New Chief Information Officer

Highlands Bank is pleased to announce several leadership promotions approved by its Board of Directors at its most recent meeting, recognizing the dedication, expertise, and outstanding contributions of team members across the organization.

The following promotions have been approved:

  • G. James Cornett – Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer
  • Gale Vance – Senior Vice President, Operations
  • John E. Baker – Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
  • Scotty Miley – Senior Vice President, Lending
  • Shelley Mongold – Senior Vice President, Loan Operations
  • Amber Kuh – Assistant Cashier & Loan Operations Officer
  • Jessica Simmons – Electronic Banking Officer
  • Carissa Iser – Operations Officer

In addition, effective July 1, Dan Fabbri transitioned from our holding company, Highlands Bankshares, Inc. to Highlands Bank, where he will serve full-time as Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer.
